Bridging policy and market adoption: Unlocking insights from environmental disclosure through CDP

Disclosure is the cornerstone of action. Nearly 25 years after CDP pioneered environmental disclosure, this is recognized by municipalities, governments, corporates, capital markets and scientists alike. With the stakes higher than ever, the use cases for disclosure data are only increasing. We need more, and better, disclosure to build an accurate picture of progress and develop robust plans for action.

As the only independent environmental disclosure system, CDP is stepping up to play our part. In this event, we’ll take stock of the disclosure landscape and demonstrate how CDP is evolving to streamline reporting, increase access to decision-useful data and drive meaningful action.

Showcasing how CDP’s revamped disclosure system and data can be leveraged by policymakers across the globe, we will explore:

• key changes to CDP disclosure including our new corporate questionnaire and new, tailored questionnaire for SMEs;
• data outputs and insights and how they can be used by policymakers;
• progress in implementing disclosure standards, CDP’s alignment with IFRS S2 and partnerships with EFRAG and TNFD; and
• CDP’s Government Partnerships Program.

This will be an opportunity to engage in an open discussion, ask questions, and understand how partnering with CDP can support your strategic objectives.
