By focusing on the reduction of carbon emissions during product use, electronics company Fujitsu has been able to achieve its own emissions reductions while also providing its customers with energy efficient product options. The company aims to deliver the top efficiency level for at least 50% of all new products, while increasing the resource efficiency of newly developed products by 15% in 2018, compared to 2014. Key to the company’s success: the production of efficient ICT equipment. With the launch of its ‘Climate and Energy Vision’ in May 2017, Fujitsu has now also set out its plan to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2050.
