CDP Europe Awards 2022: online ceremony

Europe's businesses, investors and cities have an enormous role to play to transform our economy, financial system, and society. This year at the CDP Europe Awards 2022, we celebrated those leading the way through their environmental ambition in 2021.

CDP A List
The A List showcases the companies leading on environmental transparency and action, based on their annual disclosure through CDP’s climate change, forests and water security questionnaires. Thousands of companies disclose through CDP at the request of investors and corporate buyers.
Businesses in Europe are showing increased environmental awareness. In 2021, the number of European companies receiving an A score account over 40% including six with a 'Triple A' score. These companies are taking real and concrete action to protect climate and nature and achieve the green transition. The full list of companies awarded an A in 2021 is available here.
Double A List
Congratulations to the 11 European Double A companies, who are demonstrating environmental leadership through receiving A scores across two themes. The full list of companies awarded two A scores in 2021 is available here.
Triple A List
Congratulations to the 6 European Triple A companies, who are recognized for their efforts in tackling climate change, water security and deforestation. The full list of companies awarded three A scores in 2021 is available here.
Cities A List
The cities on the 2021 CDP Cities A List have received the highest rating for their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build resilience to the impacts of climate change and protect nature and biodiversity. They are setting an example of environmental action that we urgently need from other cities and national governments to safeguard the planet's resources, economy and citizens.

Climetrics Fund Awards
In its fourth year, CDP’s Climetrics Fund Awards recognized the asset managers of 20 actively managed equity funds across four categories: US equity, European equity, emerging markets equity and global equity. For this year’s awards, the top five actively managed funds for each equity category were selected based on their underlying Climetrics score, which is based on CDP climate change, forests and water security data. Any investor can search the Climetrics database of 20,000 funds for free to find funds well-positioned in the transition to a low-carbon, resource-secure economy.
