In October 2020, the CDP Partnerships team launched its Diversity and Equity Initiative. This initiative was created to leverage CDP’s platform and resources to make the accredited solutions provider programme more accessible to a diverse network of providers, and to shine a light on the work that these providers are doing for the sector. We wanted to create an inclusive community of solutions providers and to close opportunity gaps so that all companies working to achieve a green and sustainable economy for people and planet could partner with us.
As part of this initiative, we launched our sliding pay scale that offers a subsidised partnership fee for minority and women-owned businesses (MWOB). A year on from implementing the strategy we are delighted to share with you the new minority and women-owned businesses that have joined CDP as accredited solutions providers in the past year, offering a variety of support across a wide range of sustainability topics:

It is great to see that this initiative is encouraging more MWOB’s to partner with us. Moving forward, we aim to expand the number MWOB’s we are working with, increase the visibility of these organisations on our platforms and continue to develop strategies to accelerate inclusivity and equity across our entire network.
