The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the annual UN Climate Change Conference and one of the most important international meetings of the year. It is an opportunity to measure countries’ progress towards agreed targets and negotiations take place for the next round of emissions reductions. The tracking of non-state actor progress is an important part of this process. Historic outcomes from the annual COP includes the signing of the Paris Agreement in 2015.
CDP engages with the UNFCCC’s annual Conference of the Parties (COP) to increase ambition and accelerate action by governments, corporates, capital markets, cities, states and regions.
